About Ashford Photographic Society

We meet every Friday evening at 7.30PM for a 7.45PM start, from early September until mid May at Givaudan Sports and Social Club, Kennington Road, Ashford, Kent. We have a diverse membership, working in traditional darkroom print and digital media.

Our season

Our programme comprises a mixture of talks by top photographers and a variety of competitions. We welcome new members and, for the coming 2018/2019 season, there are a number of tuition workshops aimed at those wishing to gain more experience in photographic and image processing techniques.

Membership fees

Full membership is £52.00; Concession (over 65 years on 1st October) is £40.00; under 18-years £15.00.

Affiliations

The society is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain [PAGB] through the Kent County Photographic Association [KCPA]. We use external judges for all our competitions.
